Event Description
The Kentucky Agriculture Training School (KATS) is offering an interactive crop scouting clinic at the University of Kentucky Research and Education Center on Thursday, May 28, beneficial for producers and scouts of all experience levels.
From 8:30 am to 3:30 pm CT, participants will learn to scout for corn and soybean diseases and insects and identify corn and soybean growth stages and weeds. Soil nutrients and their influence on crop growth will also be showcased.
Educational credits have been requested for certified crop advisors and pesticide applicators.
The clinic will be held at 300 Extension Farm Road, Princeton, Kentucky. Participants are encouraged to dress for outdoor fieldwork. Lunch will be provided.
